Yamaha launched four new instruments in their ‘reface’ line that allows musicians and enthusiasts to create sounds anywhere. Yamaha Soundmondo was developed so users can share these sounds with the reface community. They simply need to connect their instrument to either their mobile device or computer, and Soundmondo can retrieve the sounds created on their instrument and place those sounds on other Soundmondo users’ instruments.

Soundmondo also helps users learn how to create the sound that they’ve uploaded into their instrument.

The reception to Soundmondo has been massively successful – with over 10,000 sounds created within its first year.
