This project was paired with The Civic Committee of Chicago, so it was important to coordinate development activities across all teams involved. Change management was at the forefront, so if there was a change in one project, it was important to ensure consistency between both platforms. Since this project was strictly development , our Discovery process centered around speed, internal operations, and user adoption. Everyone needed to feel comfortable using their infrastructure. If technology isn’t easy, it won’t be used. We rolled out the new system via group and one-on-one training, and the site can now serve as their communication hub to all they serve.
