The Challenge

Founded in 2018, P33 is an organization that’s helping Chicago be a global tech hub. They had a beautiful site that was previously developed, however it wasn’t on a CMS – making frequent content updates difficult to perform. The frontend was top-notch, but they also needed a fully functional backend so they could scale.

The Solution

Beautiful design is one thing. However, it also must be a breeze to edit and have the functionality and power to scale. Pages and sections must have the ability to be cloned and repurposed. We also needed dynamic content, so content can cascade to other parts of the site without manually recreating each time. The focus was two-fold: 1) Maintain all of the design intricacies from the non-CMS version, and 2) Save time and money by making content and functionality easy to access, add, and update. Problems solved.

How We Got There.

We started with Discovery to understand where P33 was at, and where they wanted to go. We gained a solid understanding of any new functionality that was needed, so we could build that into the new CMS. Content was optimized for SEO reasons, and every tiny design nuance was built into the new platform. The result – a web platform/ CMS that looks great, but also a fully functional backend as well.
