A new site for The Economic Club of Chicago.

When you have an awe inspiring array of speakers who have graced your events, how do you tell the stories and do it clearly? The Economic Club of Chicago has a by-invitation-only membership, where Chicago’s movers and shakers hear from national and global leaders in business, government and charitable works. Though the events are only open to members, the recordings of the event (video and/or audio) are available to anyone who wants to learn. Being able to navigate, search and put information easily into it – and into context – was a huge challenge for them, and for us.  More importantly, being able to maintain the site’s integrity as new events are added in the future is key to keeping their site fresh for their members and educational visitors.

Through extensive wireframing and prototyping, we developed a framework with their design aesthetic to create a site that provided the search capabilities plus was worthy of their impressive membership. They can easily create new dynamic and dedicated pages leveraging saved templates designed for specific situations. By planning ahead and recorded training videos, the site structures are easy to navigate behind the scenes too. This allows them to scale and update – and keep their site ready to impress their audiences.
