Para Los Niños is a chain of L.A.-based schools and centers that combine education, early intervention, mental health, public health, community engagement, and leadership development to serve the whole child, whole family, and communities around them. They needed a new site to communicate all the fantastic work they do. It needed to speak to their students and families, while concurrently communicating their outcomes to existing and potential funders. They also needed a new way to automate select outbound communication processes, and to better manage information surrounding that.
We first needed to simplify, making the UX a seamless experience. Flattening and reorganizing content led to a better way to communicate what they do, and how they’re a central part of empowering families in Los Angeles. We developed new, interactive content elements to augment their mission statement, and utilized existing video footage to incorporate lifestyle into the overall experience. We evaluated and presented new options for CRM and marketing automation, and utilized Zoho CRM and Zoho Marketing Automation to tightly integrate into the site. The result – a new digital infrastructure to aid in the amazing work they do.
We always start with Discovery. We need to understand PLN as well as their own team. As much as we love meeting clients in person, we met remotely due to obvious reasons in 2021.
We performed extensive content and competitive analysis. This work results in identifying tremendous insights into what content truly performs. To ensure the user is always at the center of the entire experience, personas are developed to illustrate and summarize the variety of their constituent users groups. We were able to combine the strategic approach with data-driven research.
All of this rolls up into the digital strategy, which drives the wireframes. Then, instead of spending weeks looking at static design documents, we go directly into prototyping, allowing a hands-on and collaborative approach for all involved. We identified several options for CRM and marketing automation, and ultimately selected Zoho CRM and Zoho Marketing Automation, and used Zoho Forms for frontend data collection. PLN now has a new digital infrastructure for them to better scale and serve their people.
